I like that line-up H&P and lets hope we take the game to them. It will make a tremendous change from sitting back and trying to score on the break. I fear that Moyes is a one trick pony, fearful of really letting the players show their talents so I'll go for a boring 1-0 win.

See it more as Downs sitting and Paqueta linking as Rice drives forward. Won’t happen with Moyes around anyway.

12 games in the next 6 weeks, so should probably play mainly a 2nd XI in the Conference & League cup games, with Dawson/Zouma and Rice/Soucek alternating as the ones who play twice a week.

Hopefully this game sees a start for Benrahma and Emerson, at least half an hour or preferably a start for Downes, and I would love to see Antonio playing as a winger with Scamacca as CF, but I fear that the idea of that would make Moyes's head explode. Anderlecht will be no pushovers so it does need to be a strong side.

He needs to do more for his price tag, I agree.
But he almost never hurts the team and starts or maintains our attacking moves.

I agree in the 433 formation you need players who can cross, this also relies on the backs overlapping the forwards. With Emerson and Kehrer this can work imho.

Kehrer is not really a crosser from what I have seen of him before us, a lot of that was at centre back but some at right back.
But not saying it won't work, had a real nice through ball to Bowen I think, when somewhat forward yesterday.
